Season your wings with salt and let them sit for a couple of minutes.

Combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 cup of cornstarch in a bowl.

Season the dry mixture with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Whisk the dry ingredients together.

Transfer half of the dry mixture to another bowl.

Add water to one of the bowls with the dry mixture and whisk until you get a smooth batter.

Pat your wings dry using paper towels.

Toss your wings in the wet batter.

Then toss the battered wings into the dry flour mixture.

Fry the wings until they are nice and golden brown.

Remove the fried wings from the oil using a strainer.

Serve the crispy wings and toss them in your favorite sauce.
