Directions
- 1Place frozen tater tots into four loaf tins on a baking tray.
- 2Evenly distribute the tater tots in the loaf tins.
- 3Bake the tater tots in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes.
- 4Cook 1 pound of ground beef in a frying pan, breaking it up with a meat chopper.
- 5Drain the cooked ground beef.
- 6Add one package of original taco seasoning mix to the ground beef.
- 7Add a whole can of Ro-Tel diced tomatoes & green chilies with their juices to the meat.
- 8Mix the taco seasoning and Ro-Tel into the ground beef until evenly distributed.
- 9Add 16 ounces of Velveeta cheese, cut into smaller blocks, to the meat mixture.
- 10Melt and mix the Velveeta into the meat mixture over medium heat until creamy.
- 11Remove the par-cooked tater tots from the oven.
- 12Scoop the cheese and meat mixture right on top of the par-cooked tater tots in each loaf tin, distributing it evenly.
- 13Add a nice layer of Tillamook triple cheddar blend cheese right on top of the loaded tots.
- 14Bake the loaded tots in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 more minutes.
- 15Add a swirl of Daisy sour cream on each loaded tot loaf.
- 16Garnish with chopped green onions.
