Directions
- 1Boil cavatappi noodles in beef broth according to package instructions.
- 2Dice red and green bell peppers and a small yellow onion.
- 3Warm a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
- 4Add bacon to the skillet until golden brown; drain on paper towels and set aside.
- 5Add ground beef to skillet with bacon fat; season with all-purpose seasoning and smoked paprika.
- 6Break up the beef with a spatula until no longer pink.
- 7Add diced onion and bell peppers, cook until softened (about 2-3 minutes).
- 8Add garlic paste (or minced garlic) and sun-dried tomatoes.
- 9Add Dijon mustard, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup.
- 10Add beef bouillon and crushed red pepper flakes.
- 11Add cooked noodles; fold to coat.
- 12Add chopped bacon and half the shredded cheese; fold in.
- 13Top with remaining cheese.
- 14Bake at 400°F for about 20 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and brown.
- 15Garnish with fresh parsley.

- 1 cup colby jack cheese
- 4 pieces thick cut bacon
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon all purpose seasoning
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1.5 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 pinches beef bouillon
- 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 handful fresh chopped parsley
