Directions
- 1Slice your onion however you want.
- 2Drop the sliced onions into a hot oiled pan and sauté them until they are golden and caramelized.
- 3Set the caramelized onions aside.
- 4In your favorite 1 and 3/4 to 2-quart baking dish, add 1 and 1/4 cups of long grain rice, 1 can of beef broth, and 1 can of French onion soup.
- 5Give this a quick stir.
- 6Ploop the caramelized onions right on top and spread them out in an even layer.
- 7Add 1 stick of unsalted butter, cut into little pats.
- 8Cover your baking dish and throw it in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes.
- 9When the 45 minutes are up, take it out of the oven, remove the lid, and admire it.
- 10Grab a fork and check to see how much liquid is left.
- 11If there's a lot of liquid left, put it back in the oven uncovered until it's tender and perfect.
- 12If your rice is perfect, grab a serving spoon and fill up a bowl.
- 13If you have parsley, sprinkle it on top to make it look fancy.

Tips
