Directions

  1. 1Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. 2Place chicken breasts into a Ziploc bag with 1/4 cup all-purpose flour seasoned with a pinch of salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  3. 3Shake the bag until the chicken breasts are coated.
  4. 4Set the chicken aside.
  5. 5In a mixing bowl, combine one can of low sodium cream of chicken soup and half a cup of mayonnaise. Mix well.
  6. 6Dip the chicken into the soup and mayonnaise mixture until nicely coated.
  7. 7Drop the coated chicken into a greased baking dish.
  8. 8In a separate bowl, combine one cup of panko bread crumbs and three tablespoons of melted butter. Whisk to combine.
  9. 9Add a pinch of Italian seasoning and one cup of finely shredded cheddar cheese to the bread crumb mixture. Mix well.
  10. 10Cover the chicken breasts in the baking dish with the bread crumb and cheese mixture.
  11. 11Cover the baking dish with foil.
  12. 12Bake in the oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-35 minutes.
  13. 13After 30 minutes, carefully remove the foil.
  14. 14Return the baking dish to the oven for about five more minutes to brown the top and ensure the chicken is fully cooked.
