Directions

  1. 1Slice the red onions.
  2. 2Add the sliced red onions to a jar.
  3. 3Place the pot on the stove.
  4. 4Add red wine vinegar to the pot.
  5. 5Add water, bay leaves, garlic cloves, salt, peppercorns, and sugar to the pot.
  6. 6Mix all the ingredients with a wooden spoon.
  7. 7Bring to a boil.
  8. 8Pour the mixture into the jar.
  9. 9Add a paper towel on top.

  • 1 C water
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tsp peppercorns
  • 2 T sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • red onion
