Directions

  1. 1Drop a box of coconut cake mix into a mixing bowl.
  2. 2Add two whole eggs and one stick of melted butter to the mixing bowl.
  3. 3Beat the mixture with a hand mixer until beautifully combined.
  4. 4Set the mixture aside.
  5. 5Grab a 9x13 baking dish and lay a piece of parchment paper across it.
  6. 6Ploop the cake mix into the baking dish.
  7. 7Spray a mixing tool with non-stick spray and spread the cake mixture evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.
  8. 8Set the baking dish aside.
  9. 9Grab another mixing bowl.
  10. 10Add three and a half cups of powdered sugar, two more eggs, one block of softened cream cheese, and about a teaspoon of vanilla.
  11. 11Beat this mixture until it's also beautifully combined.
  12. 12Pour the mixture right on top of the cake mixture in the baking dish.
  13. 13Spread it out evenly, edge to edge.
  14. 14Throw the whole thing in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
  15. 15Take it out of the oven and let it cool off for a few minutes.
  16. 16Lift the cooled bars out of the baking dish using the parchment paper.
  17. 17Once cooled, grab a knife and cut it into squares.
  18. 18Sprinkle shredded coconut on top.
  19. 19Drizzle the top with chocolate.
