Brown 2 lbs of ground beef in Rouses Novello olive oil, chopping it up a bit as it browns.
Add 1/2 tablespoon of Pi-YAHHHHH!! seasoning and 1/2 tablespoon of garlic powder to the browning ground beef.
Once the ground beef is brown and crumbly, remove it and place it into a sifter over a bowl, saving the juices.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Drop the onion, bell pepper, and two celery stalks into a hot pot.
Add the saved meat juices to the vegetables to cook them down.
Place 2 lbs of Rouses green onion sausage in the oven and cook for 25 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 25 minutes on the other side.
Add 2 tablespoons of minced garlic to the vegetables and stir to help break up any browning on the bottom of the pot.
Add a 12 oz can of tomato paste.
Add two 28 oz cans of crushed tomato.
Add three 15 oz cans of tomato sauce.
Add 1 cup of water to a can (presumably one of the tomato sauce cans) and then pour it into the sauce.
Add 1/4 cup of sugar, 1 tablespoon of parsley flakes, 1 teaspoon of basil, 2 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and a dash of red pepper flakes.
Add three bay leaves.
Stir the sauce around.
Raise the heat to bring the sauce to a slight boil.
Add the browned ground beef back into the sauce.
Let the sauce come to a slight boil, then cover it, lower to a simmering heat, and cook for 2 hours.
Once the sausage is done, remove it from the oven and cut it into approximately 2-inch pieces on a cutting board.
Add the cut sausage to the pot with the simmering meat sauce.
Stir the sausage into the sauce, cover it up, and continue to let it simmer.
