Directions

  1. 1Place eight pre-cooked hash brown patties in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. 2Crumble a full pack of pre-baked bacon (fat removed) over the hash brown patties.
  3. 3Add a layer of browned breakfast sausage on top of the bacon and hash browns (half if preferred).
  4. 4Add a layer of chopped red onion and red and green peppers.
  5. 5In a separate bowl, combine nine eggs, about a quarter cup of sour cream, and a splash (about a quarter cup) of heavy cream.
  6. 6Season the egg mixture with onion powder, garlic powder, Dano's seasoning, and black pepper.
  7. 7Whisk the egg mixture very well to ensure no chunks of sour cream remain.
  8. 8Pour the egg mixture over the layers in the baking dish, ensuring everything is covered.
  9. 9Sprinkle a thin layer of shredded cheese on top of the casserole.
  10. 10Add more black pepper and parsley on top.
  11. 11Bake the casserole in an oven preheated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 28 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked.
  12. 12Garnish with green onions before serving.
