Directions

  1. 1Add salt to boiling water.
  2. 2Add 1 and 1/4 cup pasta to the boiling water.
  3. 3Cook the pasta for 7 minutes.
  4. 4Save 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  5. 5Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  6. 6Add olive oil to a pan.
  7. 7Add 1 chopped onion to the pan.
  8. 8Add 1 chopped green pepper to the pan.
  9. 9Add 1 cup sliced mushrooms to the pan.
  10. 10Add 1 tbsp minced garlic to the pan.
  11. 11Cook until the vegetables are soft.
  12. 12Make space in the center of the pan.
  13. 13Add lean ground beef or sirloin to the pan.
  14. 14Season the beef with salt.
  15. 15Add chili powder to the beef.
  16. 16Add paprika to the beef.
  17. 17Cook the beef until it is brown.
  18. 18Add 1/4 cup light cream cheese to the pan.
  19. 19Add 1/3 cup fat free Greek yogurt to the pan.
  20. 20Add 1/3 cup light mozzarella cheese to the pan.
  21. 21Add 1/2 cup pasta water to the pan.
  22. 22Mix well until combined.
  23. 23Add the cooked pasta to the pan.
  24. 24Mix well until the pasta is coated with the sauce.
