Easy, Healthier Garlic Beef Pasta

Directions

  1. 1Boil water in a pot, add salt, and cook 170g of pasta for 8 minutes.
  2. 2Save 1/3 cup of pasta water and drain the pasta.
  3. 3In a frying pan, add 1 tsp olive oil, 2 tbsp minced garlic, and 1 diced red onion. Cook until soft.
  4. 4Add 500g of lean ground beef, 1 tsp each of salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, and oregano. Cook until soft and set aside.
  5. 5In the same pan, add 1 cup tomato sauce, 1 cup beef broth, and 1 cup of any milk. Stir on boil until it thickens.
  6. 6Add 1/2 cup of low fat cheese and mix on low heat.
  7. 7Add the cooked pasta and mix well.
