Dice green pepper and onion.

Heat oil in a pan, add ground beef, break it apart, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until fully cooked, then remove and drain the grease.

Melt butter in the same pan, add onion and green pepper, and cook until soft.

Add the cooked beef back to the pan.

Add red pepper flakes, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer for a few minutes.

Add starch to thicken the sauce.

Top with provolone cheese until melted, then mix it all together.

Toast buns and add a couple of scoops of the mixture, top with more cheese, and serve.
