One Pan Bacon Ranch Cheddar Chicken Pasta

Directions

  1. 1Chop up 12 oz of bacon.
  2. 2Cook the bacon at a medium to low temperature.
  3. 3Grab about a pound and a half of chicken and cube it up into bite-sized pieces.
  4. 4Season the chicken really well with ranch seasoning and Slap Your Mama seasoning.
  5. 5Toss the seasoned chicken really well.
  6. 6Add about 2 tablespoons of corn starch to the chicken.
  7. 7Toss the chicken again and set it aside.
  8. 8While the bacon is still cooking, shred 2 to 3 cups of cheese (cheddar recommended).
  9. 9Once the bacon is almost finished cooking, add a diced onion to the pan.
  10. 10Once the bacon is nice and crispy, remove it from the pan, keeping all the bacon grease in the pan.
  11. 11Cook the chicken in the bacon grease for 3 minutes on both sides.
  12. 12Toss the chicken around for 30 seconds to a minute to ensure everything is nice and crispy.
  13. 13Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
  14. 14Add a whole carton (about 4 cups) of low sodium chicken broth to the pan.
  15. 15Add 1 pound of your desired pasta to the pan.
  16. 16Season the pasta again with ranch seasoning and Slap Your Mama seasoning.
  17. 17Put the heat to high and let it boil.
  18. 18Cook the pasta for around 8 to 10 minutes until the liquid is all absorbed and the noodles are cooked through.
  19. 19Add about a cup of heavy cream and toss it up.
  20. 20Turn down the heat and add your cheese to the pasta.
  21. 21Add the cooked bacon and chicken back into the pasta.
  22. 22Mix everything up really well.
