Directions
- 1Start by throwing a pound of ground beef into a hot oiled pan.
- 2Break up the ground beef, brown it, drain it, and season it.
- 3Set the ground beef aside.
- 4Grab a greased 9x13 baking dish and four Yukon gold potatoes.
- 5Peel and thinly slice the potatoes.
- 6Layer the thinly sliced potatoes across the bottom of the baking dish.
- 7Add some seasoning to the potatoes.
- 8Bring the ground beef back in and place it on top of the potatoes.
- 9Spread the ground beef out in an even layer.
- 10Get a mixing bowl or a measuring cup.
- 11Add one can of cream of mushroom soup and a half a cup of whole milk to the bowl.
- 12Whisk the soup and milk until beautifully combined.
- 13Pour the mixture as evenly as possible onto the meat.
- 14Throw the whole thing in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about an hour.
- 15Keep an eye on it while it bakes.
- 16When it comes out, take a heaping handful of freshly shredded cheddar cheese and make a layer on top.
- 17Throw it back in the oven for about 5 or 10 minutes until it's melted and bubbly.
- 18If you have chopped green onions, throw them on top to make it look even better.
- 19Let it rest for a minute because it will be hot.
- 20Grab a spatula, cut a piece out, and serve on a plate.
- 21Grab a fork, scoop up a big bite, and enjoy.
