  1. 1Stack fresh collard greens, roll them up, cut off the stems, and make a slit in the middle to quickly cut them.
  2. 2Wash the cut collard greens with salt in the sink at least 5-6 times until the water is clear.
  3. 3Add sliced onions and minced garlic to a pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  4. 4Place the smoked turkey drumstick in the pan with the sautéed onions and garlic.
  5. 5Pour chicken stock into the pan, ensuring the turkey drumstick is submerged.
  6. 6Cover the pan and let it cook briefly.
  7. 7Add the cut collard greens to the pot, in batches if necessary, pushing them down as they cook and wilt.
  8. 8Cover the pot and let the greens cook down for about 5 minutes.
  9. 9Season the greens with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, Italian seasoning, red crushed peppers, chicken bouillon paste, and brown sugar.
