Spicy Creamy Pasta Recipe
Directions
- 1Add oil to the pot.
- 2Add 1 chopped onion and cook until golden brown.
- 3Add 4 garlic cloves and cook for about 1 minute.
- 4Add 3 tbsp tomato purée and mix well.
- 5Add 1 glass of water and mix well.
- 6Add 300 ml double cream, and mix.
- 7Add 1 tsp mixed herbs.
- 8Add 1 tsp salt.
- 9Add red pepper flakes to taste.
- 10Add 150 g mild cheddar cheese.
- 11Boil 500g penne pasta in a separate pot with salted water until al dente.
- 12Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well.
- 13Add a handful of fresh coriander.
- 14Serve and garnish with extra cheese, if desired.
