Ingredients
onions
garlic
olive oil
1 big pinch salt
whole peeled tomatoes
0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
Equipment
food processor
saucepan
bowl
containers
large ice cube things
Tips
Don't chop onions and garlic everyday; make a sugo and freeze it.
Use a food processor to dice onions and grate garlic if you can't do it by hand.
Using whole tomatoes instead of crushed tomatoes can result in better quality, but crushed tomatoes can be used to skip a step.
Clean out your cans after adding tomatoes.
The sugo lasts a week in the fridge or three months in the freezer.
Freezing in large ice cube molds is a good idea.
