Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F if baking, or prepare a 6–7 quart slow cooker.
  2. 2Cut bacon into small pieces and cook in a large heavy pot over medium heat for 8–10 minutes until crisp.
  3. 3Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
  4. 4Add chopped onion and cook for 5–6 minutes until translucent.
  5. 5Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  6. 6Add ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes until fully browned.
  7. 7Return cooked bacon to the pot and stir to combine.
  8. 8Add baked beans without draining, then add drained kidney beans, cannellini beans, and black beans.
  9. 9Stir in brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, and yellow mustard until fully combined.
  10. 10Transfer to a deep 9x13-inch casserole dish or leave in a large Dutch oven and cover tightly.
  11. 11Bake at 350°F for 1 hour 30 minutes covered, or cook in a slow cooker on LOW for 2 hours.
  12. 12Serve hot.

  • 1 lb 80% lean ground beef
  • 48 oz Bush's Original Baked Beans (do not drain)
  • 32 oz Goya Kidney Beans (drained)
  • 16 oz Goya Cannellini Beans (drained)
  • 32 oz Goya Black Beans (drained)
  • 0.25 cup Domino Brown Sugar
  • 0.25 cup Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 cup Heinz Tomato Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp French's Classic Yellow Mustard
