Directions

  1. 1Put on gloves if you have texture issues.
  2. 2Add 1 pound of ground beef to a mixing bowl.
  3. 3Add 1 pound of sausage to the bowl.
  4. 4Crack 2 eggs into the bowl with the meat.
  5. 5Add one whole diced onion to the bowl.
  6. 6Add about a tablespoon of Italian seasoning.
  7. 7Add a dash of paprika for color.
  8. 8Pour about 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce into the bowl.
  9. 9Add a few tablespoons of garlic powder (or preferred garlic seasoning).
  10. 10Season with salt and pepper.
  11. 11Crush one whole sleeve of Ritz crackers in the bag.
  12. 12Open one end of the cracker bag and pour the crushed crackers into the bowl.
  13. 13Mix all ingredients together by hand until well combined.
  14. 14Transfer the meat mixture into an aluminum pan.
  15. 15Evenly distribute and form the meatloaf in the pan.
  16. 16In a separate bowl, add about a half to a full cup of jalapeño ketchup.
  17. 17Add about a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the ketchup.
  18. 18Add 2 to 4 tablespoons of brown sugar to the ketchup mixture.
  19. 19Swirl the ketchup mixture until everything is well mixed.
  20. 20Pour the ketchup mixture over the meatloaf in the pan.
  21. 21Spread the sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  22. 22Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 15-20 minutes.
  23. 23Remove the meatloaf from the oven when cooked.
  24. 24Carve a slice of meatloaf onto a plate.
  25. 25Serve the meatloaf with roasted potatoes.

Tips

  • Use a pound of sausage and a pound of ground beef mixed for better taste.
  • Crush crackers in the bag to prevent mess.
  • If you don't like onion, you can use half an onion or leave it out.
  • Meatloaf leftovers are great for sandwiches.
