Once the ground beef is almost cooked through, add diced onion, diced bell pepper, and a large spoonful of minced garlic. Cook for a few minutes until the veggies start to soften.
Pour in one jar of pasta sauce. Fill the jar about two-quarters of the way with chicken broth and pour it into the pot to get every last drop of sauce out.
Season the mixture well with Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese.
Bring the mixture to a boil.
Stir in 8 ounces of uncooked spaghetti that has been broken in half so it fits in the pot. Make sure the noodles are well coated in the sauce right away to prevent clumps.
Cover the pot and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, stopping and stirring really well every 5 minutes.
Once the pasta is tender, stir in half a block of cream cheese until it melts into the sauce.
Let it sit uncovered for 3 to 5 minutes so it thickens up.
Serve with bread.
