Serves 1

Directions

  1. 1First we're going to make the sauce for the recipe, you're going to mix together some soy sauce, hoisin sauce, ground ginger, onion powder, white pepper, sesame oil, honey or white sugar, a dash of rice wine vinegar, and a corn starch slurry.
  2. 2Next, go ahead and cut your steak thin.
  3. 3We're going to add some of the marinade on and let that marinate for about 15 to 30 minutes.
  4. 4Now get a piping hot skillet or a wok, whatever you can find.
  5. 5Add the steak and cook it for a couple of minutes until you start to see a little sear.
  6. 6Set all those pieces to the side.
  7. 7To the same pan, we're going to add in some onions and some fresh garlic.
  8. 8Throw in the blanched broccoli.
  9. 9Hit that with the marinade, let it thicken up.
  10. 10You're going to add the steak back in.
