Take one cup of white rice.

Rinse the rice with cold water, washing it well.

Dump out the first rinse water.

Rinse with cold water again, swishing it to wash the grains.

Dump out the second rinse water.

Add two cups of water for the third rinse.

Swish the rice in this water a little longer.

Keep this water; it is the rice water to be stored.

Store the rice water in the fridge for up to two weeks.

Pour some into a mister bottle for daily use.

1 cup white rice (Korean or Japanese rice recommended)
2 cups cold water

Tips
Do not use Uncle Ben's rice.
You can use the rice water immediately.
Store the rice water in the fridge for up to two weeks.
When in a mister bottle, it can be kept on the counter for two to three days.
If the rice water starts smelling funky, you can still use it, or discard it and get fresh from the fridge.
