Directions
- 1In a saucepan, brown the butter on med heat. Let it cool to room temperature before using.
- 2Cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and eggs.
- 3In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- 4Combine wet and dry ingredients until barely combined (still see flour streaks).
- 5Add chopped chocolate. Do not overmix.
- 6Pour batter into a 9x9 pan. Top with additional chocolate pieces (optional).
- 7Bake at 325 for 35-40 min
