Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2Melt unsalted butter in a medium saucepan for a minute, then remove from heat and allow to cool.
  3. 3Pour the melted butter into a glass bowl.
  4. 4Add light corn syrup to the bowl.
  5. 5Add dark brown sugar to the bowl.
  6. 6Whisk in light corn syrup and dark brown sugar until combined.
  7. 7Add the eggs to the mixture and whisk well.
  8. 8Add vanilla extract and salt to the mixture.
  9. 9Whisk until everything is incorporated.
  10. 10Add pecan halves to the mixture and fold them in.
  11. 11Add 1 tablespoon of flour to the mixture and fold in.
  12. 12Place Pillsbury pie crusts into a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  13. 13Prick the pie crusts with a fork.
  14. 14Pour the pecan filling into the pre-baked crust.
  15. 15Spread the filling evenly.
  16. 16Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a knife comes out clean from the center.
  17. 17Cover the baked pecan pie bars with plastic wrap to cool completely.
  18. 18Chill in the fridge for 3-4 hours.
  19. 19Cut the cooled and chilled pecan pie into bars.
  20. 20Serve and enjoy.
