Make the marinade by adding soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, Maggi jugo, honey, sesame oil, black pepper, crushed pepper, minced garlic, and grated ginger to a bowl; mix well.
Add 1 1/2 pounds of thinly sliced steak (flank steak recommended) to the marinade, coat well, cover, and marinate overnight or for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a little oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated steak to the wok and cook for a couple of minutes until the meat releases its marinade and juices.
Remove the cooked steak and set aside, reserving the marinade.
Add a little more oil to the wok.
Add the chopped bell peppers and onion to the wok and cook for about 5 minutes, seasoning with garlic salt.
Return the cooked steak and reserved marinade to the wok.
Make a slurry with 1 tbsp cornstarch and 2 tbsp water, then add it to the wok.
Mix everything together and cook for a couple of minutes until the sauce thickens.
