Directions
- 1Zest one lemon.
- 2Juice lemons to get one cup of fresh lemon juice.
- 3Add sugar, water and fresh lemon juice to a saucepan.
- 4Add the lemon zest to the saucepan.
- 5Add strawberries that have been washed, stemmed and sliced to the saucepan.
- 6Stir it up and bring to a boil.
- 7Reduce the heat and let it simmer for five minutes.
- 8Mash everything up.
- 9Strain solids through a fine mesh strainer.
- 10Add the strawberry lemonade syrup back to the large pitcher.
- 11Add four cups of cold water.
