Brown Butter Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

Directions

  1. 1Start by browning the butter in a saucepan.
  2. 2Pour the browned butter into a glass bowl.
  3. 3Add sugars to the browned butter and mix them with a spatula.
  4. 4Add an egg and an extra egg yolk to the mixture and whisk.
  5. 5Add vanilla extract and flour to the mixture and mix.
  6. 6Chop the chocolate into small pieces.
  7. 7Add chopped chocolate and toffee bits to the cookie dough and mix.
  8. 8Use a cookie scoop to form uniform balls of cookie dough.
  9. 9Place the cookie dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. 10Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  11. 11Bake the cookies in the oven.
