Make grits using stone ground grits, milk, butter, and cheese.

Fry bacon until crispy, reserving bacon grease.

Season shrimp with spices and cook in bacon grease for about two minutes until pink.

Add chopped onions, bell peppers, garlic, and salt to the pan.

Add tomato paste and cook for a minute.

Deglaze the pan with chicken broth.

Add heavy cream and mix; season with spices.

Add shrimp and bacon back into the pan and mix.

Plate the grits and top with the creamy shrimp and bacon mixture.

Garnish with green onions, parsley, and a lemon slice.
