  7. 7Stir the mixture to coat the meat evenly.
  8. 8Cover and marinate in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  9. 9Cook over the lowest possible heat for 3 hours, flipping every 40 minutes.
  10. 10Slice the meat thinly and pour the cooking sauce over the top.

Ingredients

  • brisket
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 5 whole garlic
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

Equipment

Tips

  • Instead of minced garlic and ginger, you can use whole garlic cloves and powdered ginger.
  • If you don't have the grainy mustard used in the video, regular mustard works perfectly fine.
  • Adding the oil to the cup before the honey prevents the honey from sticking to the cup.
