Add glutinous rice flour, sugar, water, and mango powder into a bowl and mix until combined.

Strain the mixture into another bowl.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and poke holes with a knife.

Steam for 20 minutes.

Add butter to the steamed mochi dough.

Transfer the dough to a stand mixer and knead until smooth.

Divide the mochi dough into equal portions.

Dust a silicone mat with glutinous rice flour.

Roll out each portion of dough into a thin circle.

Beat heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Transfer the whipped cream into a piping bag.

Place a mochi wrapper in a mochi mold.

Pipe a layer of whipped cream into the center of the mochi wrapper.

Add diced mango pieces on top of the whipped cream.

Pipe another layer of whipped cream over the mango.

Fold the edges of the mochi wrapper over the filling, sealing it to form a ball.

Close the mochi mold to shape the mochi.

Remove the finished mochi from the mold and place it in a paper cup.
