Directions
- 1In a pan, saute onions and ground beef.
- 2Drain fat from the beef and onion mixture.
- 3Add taco seasoning to the beef and onion mixture.
- 4Add refried beans, green chiles, and tomato sauce to the pan and mix well.
- 5Cook for a couple of minutes to meld the flavors together.
- 6In a separate dish, combine the beaten egg, half and half, and corn muffin mix for the base layer.
- 7Pour the base layer mixture into the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
- 8Layer the meat and bean mixture on top of the corn muffin mixture.
- 9In another bowl, mix the sour cream, shredded cheddar, and beaten egg for the top layer.
- 10Spread the top layer mixture on top of the meat mixture.
- 11Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.

- 0.33 cup onions, chopped
- 0.5 cup refried beans
- 1 TBSP green chiles
- 2 TBSP green chiles
- 0.25 cup tomato sauce
- Taco seasoning
- 0.5 beaten egg
- 2 tbsp half and half
- 0.5 cup corn muffin mix
- 4 tbsp sour cream
- Shredded cheddar
- 0.5 beaten egg
