Chicken Pho

Directions

  1. 1Remove the chicken meat from the rotisserie chicken and shred it into pieces, storing it in glass containers.
  2. 2Place the remaining chicken bones and skin into a pot.
  3. 3Add water to the pot to cover the chicken bones.
  4. 4Place the pot on the stove and turn on the burner to begin heating the water.
  5. 5Cut the white onions in half and slice the ginger into pieces.
  6. 6Place the cut onions and ginger on a baking sheet with a cooling rack.
  7. 7Roast the onions and ginger in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.
  8. 8Once roasted, add the onions and ginger to the pot with the chicken bones.
  9. 9Add one packet of chicken bouillon powder to the pot.
  10. 10Chop the green onions.
  11. 11Add the chopped green onions, a pho spice bag, and a box of chicken broth to the pot.
  12. 12Cover the pot and let it simmer for a period of time (duration not specified in video).
  13. 13Remove the chicken bones, onions, and ginger from the broth using tongs.
  14. 14Place a smaller pot with water on the stove and bring it to a boil.
  15. 15Add rice noodles to the boiling water.
