Directions

  1. 1Add flour, brown sugar and cinnamon to a large bowl for the streusel topping.
  2. 2Add cold butter to the bowl.
  3. 3Crumble the mixture by hand.
  4. 4Pop that in the fridge and let's make the cake.
  5. 5Add flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda to another large bowl for the cake mix.
  6. 6Get it mixed and set it to the side.
  7. 7In the next bowl, we need butter, eggs, sugar, a big splash of vanilla extract, and sour cream.
  8. 8Get the mixer in here and get this all incorporated.
  9. 9Once those moist ingredients are incorporated, add the dry ingredients.
  10. 10Get the mixer back in here.
  11. 11Half of this cake batter is going to go in the bottom of a loaf pan.
  12. 12Add half of the streusel topping to the center of the cake.
  13. 13Before adding the next top of cake batter, just drizzle some cinnamon sugar in here.
  14. 14Get the last half of the cake batter on top.
  15. 15Top it off with the rest of the streusel topping.
  16. 16Add yet another little bit of cinnamon sugar.
  17. 17In the oven at 350 for approximately 50 to 55 minutes.
  18. 18Leave it to sit in the pan for 5 to 10 minutes before removing it.
  19. 19Take the cake out of the loaf pan.
  20. 20Slice it and enjoy it while it's warm.
