Oven Baked Crab Balls

Directions

  1. 1Start by dropping 8 ounces of lump crab meat into a mixing bowl.
  2. 2Add a heaping tablespoon of mayonnaise.
  3. 3Add a half a cup of crushed Old Bay seasoned goldfish (or panko breadcrumbs).
  4. 4Sprinkle a little bit of Old Bay seasoning.
  5. 5Add a pinch of cayenne.
  6. 6Mix all ingredients with hand mixers until beautifully combined.
  7. 7Add some pepper if you forgot earlier and mix one more time.
  8. 8Grab a small handful, roll it into a ball, and drop it onto a greased baking sheet.
  9. 9Place the baking sheet in the fridge for 30 minutes or in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  10. 10Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  11. 11Throw the crab balls straight into the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  12. 12After 10 minutes, broil for a couple of minutes to get them crispy.
  13. 13Place the cooked crab balls on a plate.
  14. 14Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on top.
  15. 15Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
