Buffalo Chicken Meatball Appetizer

Directions

  1. 1Add 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter to a saucepan.
  2. 2Add 1/3 cup of blue cheese crumbles to the saucepan.
  3. 3Add 1/3 cup of Frank's hot sauce to the saucepan.
  4. 4Add a little bit of salt to taste to the saucepan.
  5. 5Whisk all ingredients together over heat until completely melted, then set aside.
  6. 6In a large mixing bowl, add two finely chopped celery stalks.
  7. 7Add one egg to the mixing bowl.
  8. 8Add two finely chopped cloves of garlic to the mixing bowl.
  9. 9Add 1/3 cup of panko breadcrumbs to the mixing bowl.
  10. 10Add 1/4 cup of sliced green onions to the mixing bowl.
  11. 11Add about a half a teaspoon of onion powder to the mixing bowl.
  12. 12Add a little bit more salt to the mixing bowl.
  13. 13Mix all ingredients together in the bowl.
  14. 14Add 1 pound of ground chicken to the mixture.
  15. 15Add about half of the prepared buffalo sauce mixture to the bowl.
  16. 16Mix until all ingredients are perfectly combined.
  17. 17Use a meatballer or similar tool to form beautiful, perfectly round 1 to 2 inch meatballs.
  18. 18Place the meatballs onto a baking sheet.
  19. 19Bake the meatballs in the oven at 425°F for 15 to 20 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  20. 20Get a large mixing bowl and put all the cooked meatballs in it.
  21. 21Pour the rest of the buffalo sauce mixture over the meatballs.
  22. 22Shake the bowl until the meatballs are completely covered in sauce.
  23. 23Serve the meatballs on your preferred dish.
  24. 24Drizzle with Hidden Valley Ranch and add more green onions on top if desired.
