- 6Add vanilla extract and flour to the mixture.
- 7Whisk until smooth.
- 8Pour the batter into a lined cake pan.
- 9Bake the cake.
- 10Add mascarpone to a bowl.
- 11Add cream cheese to the mascarpone.
- 12Add powdered sugar to the mascarpone and cream cheese.
- 13Mix until well combined.
- 14Add whipped cream to the mascarpone mixture and fold gently.
- 15Spread the frosting generously over the cooled cake.
- 16Smooth the frosting with an offset spatula.
