SANTAS CINNAMON ROLL CASSEROLE

Directions

  1. 1Spray a 9x13 dish and set it aside.
  2. 2Remove the cinnamon rolls from their trays and cut them into 1 inch pieces.
  3. 3Add the cut cinnamon rolls to the prepared dish.
  4. 4Warm the included icing in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds.
  5. 5Drizzle the warmed icing over the cinnamon rolls.
  6. 6In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs.
  7. 7Add milk, half-n-half (or eggnog), vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the beaten eggs.
  8. 8Whisk to combine the wet ingredients.
  9. 9Pour this mixture over the cut cinnamon rolls in the dish.
  10. 10In a small mixing bowl, combine the cold butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts for the crumble topping.
  11. 11Mix until it forms a coarse crumb.
  12. 12Add the crumble topping to the top of the cinnamon rolls.
  13. 13Cover the dish and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 5 hours.
  14. 14Bake in a 350°F oven for 45-60 minutes, uncovered, until the middle has set.
  15. 15If needed, cover and bake a little longer until fully set.
  16. 16Serve and enjoy!

  • 2 packages @sisterschuberts cinnamon rolls
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup half-n-half (or eggnog)
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.125 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.75 cup chopped pecans, walnuts or almonds
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup cold butter, cut in small pieces
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon

Tips

  • Make everything the night before and bake in the morning.
  • If you don't have half-n-half, eggnog can be swapped in.
