Bacon Cheddar Sausage Pretzel Dog Bites with Smoked Beer Cheese

Directions

  1. 1Slice the bacon cheddar sausages into bite-sized pieces.
  2. 2Roll out the pizza dough, cut it into strips, and wrap each piece of sausage in dough.
  3. 3Bring water and baking soda to a boil in a large pot, then boil the dough-wrapped sausage bites for 20 seconds before transferring to a baking sheet.
  4. 4Brush the bites with a beaten egg, sprinkle with coarse sea salt, and bake at 375 degrees until golden brown.
  5. 5In a baking dish, combine the white cheddar, mild cheddar, Velveeta, cream cheese, barbecue seasoning, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and beer.
  6. 6Place the dish in a smoker at 250 degrees and stir every 20 minutes until the cheese dip is smooth and creamy.
