Bakery-Style Box Cake
Directions
- 1Substitute the water called for in the cake mix instructions with milk.
- 2Substitute vegetable oil for butter and double the amount of butter.
- 3Add 1-2 extra egg whites.
- 4Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract.
- 5Mix all ingredients together.
- 6Pour batter into prepared cake pans.
- 7Bake until golden brown.
- 8Cool cakes completely before frosting.
