Crockpot Chili

Directions

  1. 1Brown and drain 3 pounds of 80/20 ground beef in a skillet.
  2. 2Add 1 pound of breakfast sausage and 6 ounces of tomato paste to the drained ground beef.
  3. 3Cook the sausage and tomato paste with the ground beef until the sausage is fully cooked, but do not drain.
  4. 4Transfer all the meat mixture into a 10-quart crockpot.
  5. 5Add one large chopped onion to the crockpot.
  6. 6Add two large fresh chopped jalapeños to the crockpot.
  7. 7Add 4 ounces of hatch green chilies to the crockpot.
  8. 8Add 2 tablespoons of fresh minced garlic to the crockpot.
  9. 9Add 44 ounces of diced tomatoes to the crockpot.
  10. 10Add 44 ounces of tomato sauce to the crockpot.
  11. 11Add 3 ounces of Williams Original Chili Seasoning to the crockpot.
  12. 12Add 3 15.5-ounce cans of Bush's Best Chili Magic Campfire Style beans to the crockpot.
  13. 13Stir all the ingredients together really well in the crockpot.
  14. 14Put the lid on the crockpot and cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 6 hours.
  15. 15Serve the chili, optionally adding a splash of Pepperbelly Pete's Zippy-Zap Premium Pepper Sauce.
