Directions

  1. 1Add 1 pound of pasta to a casserole dish.
  2. 2Pour one jar of spaghetti sauce over the pasta.
  3. 3Fill the empty spaghetti sauce jar about three-quarters full with water or chicken broth and add it to the casserole dish.
  4. 4Add some diced chicken to the dish.
  5. 5Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings.
  6. 6Stir everything well, making sure all the noodles are covered.
  7. 7Cover the casserole dish tightly with foil.
  8. 8Bake in the oven at 425°F for 30 minutes.
  9. 9Remove the casserole from the oven, take off the foil, and stir it.
  10. 10Add 1 to 2 cups of mozzarella cheese on top.
  11. 11Sprinkle about half a cup of Italian bread crumbs over the cheese.
  12. 12Add fresh or regular Parmesan cheese.
  13. 13Return the dish to the oven, uncovered, at 425°F for another 10 to 15 minutes until done.
