High Protein Crispy Cheeseburger Rolls

Directions

  1. 1To a pan on medium heat, add diced onion.
  2. 2Add extra lean beef mince and the seasonings listed in the caption (1 Tsp Salt, 1 Tsp Onion Powder, 1 Tsp Garlic Powder, 1.5 Tsp Smoked Paprika).
  3. 3Once the beef is brown, add diced garlic, diced pickles or jalapenos, a splash of Worcestershire sauce, some yellow mustard, and reduced sugar ketchup.
  4. 4Add light mozzarella and mix until well combined.
  5. 5Add cooked and diced beef bacon, turkey bacon or regular bacon and mix once more.
  6. 6Grab a warm tortilla.
  7. 7Add some light mozzarella to the tortilla.
  8. 8Equally distribute the filling with some burger sauce on top.
  9. 9Roll the tortilla nice and tightly.
  10. 10Repeat the process for the other 11 rolls.
  11. 11Spray the rolls with cooking oil.
  12. 12Oven bake or air fry until crispy and golden brown.
  13. 13Wrap them up and store them in the fridge or freezer.
  14. 14Reheat when you're ready to eat.

  • 90 ml Worcestershire Sauce
  • 90 g Yellow Mustard
  • 150 g Reduced Sugar Ketchup (Heinz Reduced Salt & Sugar Ketchup)
  • 150 g Light Mozzarella
  • 150 g Cooked & Diced Beef Bacon (can be substituted for turkey bacon, short cut bacon etc)
  • 12 Warm Tortillas (Mission Carb Balance Tortillas)
  • 30 g Light Grated Cheddar Cheese (per roll - Bega 50% Less Fat Grated Cheese)
  • 30 g Burger Sauce (per roll - store bought or homemade)
  • 120 g Light Mayonnaise
  • 80 g Low Sugar Ketchup
  • 30 g Yellow Mustard
  • 1 Grated Pickle
  • 15 g Pickle Juice
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 0.5 Tsp Salt
