Directions

  1. 1Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. 2Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. 3Add fresh turmeric, cumin, ground coriander, cayenne pepper, and garam masala to the chicken.
  4. 4Add three tablespoons of yogurt and a little oil to the chicken and mix well.

  7. 7Add a couple of cardamom seeds to the onions.

  12. 12Add butter to the onions and other aromatics and stir.
  13. 13Chop fresh cilantro, using the stalks for the sauce.
  14. 14Add the cilantro stalks to the pan with the onions and other aromatics.
  15. 15Add garam masala, turmeric, cumin, and cayenne pepper to the pan and toast the spices.
  16. 16Add another touch of butter to the pan.
  17. 17Start cooking the marinated chicken in a separate pan until it’s golden brown and delicious.
  18. 18Once the onions are caramelized, add tomato sauce to the pan and stir.
  19. 19As the sauce starts to boil, add double cream and stir until it reaches a rich color.
