Mix chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, chicken bouillon powder, and garlic powder in a large bowl.

Add eggs, flour, and cornstarch directly into the bowl and stir until the chicken is fully coated in the thick batter.

Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the chicken in batches for about 5 minutes, ensuring they don’t overcrowd the pan and transfer to a paper towel-lined tray to drain excess oil.

Fry the chicken again for another 3 minutes or until golden brown and ultra crispy.

Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.

Sauté garlic until fragrant (1 minute), then add honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, and the remaining butter.

Stir until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens (2–3 minutes).

Add fried chicken to the pan and toss until fully coated.

Drizzle sesame oil for extra aroma.

Top with green onions and sesame seeds and enjoy while it’s hot!
