2Cook rice and then transfer into a medium mixing bowl.
3Add furikake and mix it in.
4Slice Spam.
5Put spam in a pan over medium heat.
6Cook both sides until they start darkening a bit.

8Coat both sides of Spam for a nice glaze.
9Place half the rice into a Spam musubi mold and press down to form the rice base.
10Season the top of the rice with shichimi togarashi, and place a piece of Spam on top.
11Center the nori above the musubi, place it down, and wrap it around the sides and bottom.
12Put the flour, two eggs, and panko into their own respective dishes.
13Whisk the eggs well.
14Coat the musubi in flour.
15Coat the musubi in egg.
16Coat the musubi in panko.
17Spray the air fryer cooking surface and the tops of your katsu with nonstick cooking spray, and cook for 10 minutes.
18Flip them over, spray the side facing up, and put back in for 5-6 minutes.
19Plate them.
20Drizzle a little more Bachan’s sauce on top, and enjoy!

Tips
For a thicker, crispier breaded layer, coat a second time in egg and panko.
If using larger nori sheets, cut them into thirds to fit the musubi.
