Directions

  1. 1Place the chuck roast into the crock pot.
  2. 2Season both sides of the chuck roast generously with your favorite beef seasoning.
  3. 3Add one medium-sized chopped onion to the crock pot.
  4. 4Add five chopped carrots to the crock pot.
  5. 5Add a 16-ounce jar of medium heat pepperoncini peppers with stems removed.
  6. 6Add one and a half tablespoons of minced garlic.
  7. 7Pour Worcestershire sauce into the crock pot.
  8. 8Add one packet of beef stew seasoning, one packet of brown gravy seasoning, and one packet of au jus gravy mix.
  9. 9Pour 32 ounces of clear sink water into the crock pot.
  10. 10Add one stick of unsalted butter.
  11. 11Stir everything together to combine.
  12. 12Put the lid on the crock pot and cook on low for 5 hours.
  13. 13After 5 hours, add one and a half pounds of petite red potatoes cut in half.
  14. 14Add two tablespoons of pepper sauce.
  15. 15Ensure all the potatoes are pushed down into the liquid.
  16. 16Put the lid back on and cook for two more hours.
  17. 17Serve the pot roast over cornbread.
