Directions

  1. 1Grate all the cheeses using a cheese grater.
  2. 2Combine all grated cheeses in one pan.
  3. 3Cook the elbow noodles in boiling water, adding a little chicken bouillon.
  4. 4Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pot.
  5. 5Add 3 cups of heavy whipping cream to the melted butter and heat it up.
  6. 6Gradually add half of the grated cheese to the heated heavy whipping cream, mixing continuously from the bottom.
  7. 7Add Creole seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the cheese sauce and mix well.
  8. 8Add the cooked elbow noodles into the cheese sauce and mix until well incorporated.
  9. 9Pour half of the noodle and cheese mixture into a baking dish.
  10. 10Sprinkle a layer of grated cheese over the first layer of noodles.
  11. 11Add the remaining noodle and cheese mixture to the baking dish.
  12. 12Cover the top with the remaining grated cheese.
  13. 13Sprinkle paprika and parsley on top of the cheese.
  14. 14Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 to 20 minutes uncovered.
  15. 15Broil for 2 minutes to get a nice golden-brown top, making sure not to walk away from the stove.
  16. 16Let the mac and cheese cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
