Directions
- 1Add white cake mix, two eggs, 1/3 cup of melted butter, and two teaspoons of vanilla extract to a large mixing bowl.
- 2Mix the ingredients by hand until well combined and dense.
- 3Bake the mixture in a 9-inch round cake pan.
- 4Combine chocolate cake mix, two eggs, 1/3 cup of melted butter, and some vanilla extract in the same bowl.
- 5Mix by hand until dense and fudgy, just like the vanilla cake mix.
- 6Transfer the chocolate cake mixture into a 9-inch round cake pan.
- 7Bake both cakes in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
- 8Let the cakes cool in their pans for a couple of minutes, then remove them to a wire cooling rack.
- 9For the Oreo filling, add one block of cream cheese and a quarter cup of softened butter to a clean bowl.
- 10Mix these ingredients well with a mixer.
- 11Add between a quarter and half a cup of marshmallow fluff to the mixture and mix it in.
- 12Add two teaspoons of vanilla extract to the filling.
- 13Start with two cups of powdered sugar and mix it in, adding more if needed until the desired consistency is reached.
- 14Use a small cookie cutter to cut out individual cakes from both the vanilla and chocolate cakes.
- 15Slice off the tops of the cakes to make them more even for spreading.
- 16Spread the cream cheese filling on one half of a cake.
- 17Pair a chocolate cake with a vanilla cake, or two of the same, to create the cakesters.
