Directions
1
Add white cake mix, two eggs, 1/3 cup of melted butter, and two teaspoons of vanilla extract to a large mixing bowl.
2
Mix the ingredients by hand until well combined and dense.
3
Bake the mixture in a 9-inch round cake pan.
4
Combine chocolate cake mix, two eggs, 1/3 cup of melted butter, and some vanilla extract in the same bowl.
5
Mix by hand until dense and fudgy, just like the vanilla cake mix.
6
Transfer the chocolate cake mixture into a 9-inch round cake pan.
7
Bake both cakes in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
8
Let the cakes cool in their pans for a couple of minutes, then remove them to a wire cooling rack.
9
For the Oreo filling, add one block of cream cheese and a quarter cup of softened butter to a clean bowl.
10
Mix these ingredients well with a mixer.
11
Add between a quarter and half a cup of marshmallow fluff to the mixture and mix it in.
12
Add two teaspoons of vanilla extract to the filling.
13
Start with two cups of powdered sugar and mix it in, adding more if needed until the desired consistency is reached.
14
Use a small cookie cutter to cut out individual cakes from both the vanilla and chocolate cakes.
15
Slice off the tops of the cakes to make them more even for spreading.
16
Spread the cream cheese filling on one half of a cake.
17
Pair a chocolate cake with a vanilla cake, or two of the same, to create the cakesters.
