Serves 1

Directions

  1. 1Start by adding broth, aromatics (onion, garlic, and ginger) to the pot and bring to a simmer.
  2. 2Prepare the wonton filling by combining the ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, scallions, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then let it sit for a few minutes.
  3. 3Strain the broth and pour it back into the pot.
  4. 4Bring it back to a simmer and gently drop teaspoon-sized balls of the filling into the broth.
  5. 5Continue to simmer until the meatballs are heated through and floating to the top.
  6. 6Add bok choy and quartered wonton wrappers in batches so they don't stick together.
  7. 7Simmer for a few more minutes.
  8. 8Serve with chili oil and green onions.
