Christmas Tree Bars
Directions
- 1Spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray and cover it with parchment paper if you have it.
- 2Drop your sugar cookie dough into little balls and smooth it out until it's nice and flat.
- 3Spread green buttercream on top of the bars and smooth it out. Make sure you get all of the sides and corners covered.
- 4Add some nonpareil sprinkles for a bunch of little ornaments.
- 5Pop them into the freezer for about 10 minutes so that the frosting cuts really clean.
- 6Cut your bars horizontally in half using a sharp knife.
- 7Cut each of those halves in another half.
- 8Separate the four pieces.
- 9Trim off the bottom piece so you can start creating triangles. You should get about six Christmas trees out of each row.
- 10Cut off the top edge to make it a little bit cleaner.
- 11You can even pipe a little yellow star on the top or add a star sprinkle.

- Wipe down the knife between cuts for the cleanest edge.
- It helps to move the cookies out of the way so you're not messing them up.
