Directions

  1. 1Spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray and cover it with parchment paper if you have it.
  2. 2Drop your sugar cookie dough into little balls and smooth it out until it's nice and flat.
  3. 3Spread green buttercream on top of the bars and smooth it out. Make sure you get all of the sides and corners covered.
  4. 4Add some nonpareil sprinkles for a bunch of little ornaments.
  5. 5Pop them into the freezer for about 10 minutes so that the frosting cuts really clean.
  6. 6Cut your bars horizontally in half using a sharp knife.
  7. 7Cut each of those halves in another half.
  8. 8Separate the four pieces.
  9. 9Trim off the bottom piece so you can start creating triangles. You should get about six Christmas trees out of each row.
  10. 10Cut off the top edge to make it a little bit cleaner.
  11. 11You can even pipe a little yellow star on the top or add a star sprinkle.
